Groundwork before the ads
Funnel groundwork · Website revamp · Analytics & tracking
Brought in for digital ads, then found nothing was wired. Revamped the site, built landing pages, and set up Analytics, Tag Manager, and Meta Business so a customer could be tracked from first click through to purchase.

Pain points
- The brief was paid acquisition, but the funnel underneath was missing. No reliable landing pages, no Analytics or Tag Manager, no Meta Business setup ready to attribute spend.
- You cannot run digital ads on hope. Without end-to-end tracking, creative tests and budget decisions are guesses.
- The product site needed a proper revamp before any campaign could land somewhere that matched the promise and converted.
Solution
Music Library Tools: a Serato library manager for Mac and Windows. My job was the groundwork: rebuild the marketing site, stand up landing pages for paid traffic, and wire Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Meta Business so the team could follow a customer from the top of the funnel all the way to purchase, then start ads on solid footing.
Campaign
Revamped musiclibrarytools.co.uk so the product story and conversion paths were ready for traffic. Built landing pages for digital ads instead of dumping paid clicks on a generic homepage. Configured Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for site and conversion events, and set up Meta Business so Meta spend could be measured against the same funnel. Design and chrome work on the site sat inside that brief: the point was a site ads could actually use.
Ads were the ask. Measurement and a site that could carry them were the work, so spend could prove itself instead of flying blind.
Results
- Website revamp and landing pages ready for paid traffic: message match from ad click to page.
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager live so site actions and conversions can be attributed.
- Meta Business set up so Meta campaigns share the same measurement picture.
- Full-funnel tracking in place: top of funnel through to purchase, before ads scaled.
